Data-deletion instructions
Request deletion of your General Motion account, stored content, or connected-platform data.
Last updated July 16, 2026
Submit a request
Email privacy@generalmotion.studio from the address associated with your General Motion account with the subject “Data deletion request.”
1. Tell us what to delete
Include the following information:
- Your General Motion account email and organization name.
- Whether to delete your entire account or only data for a connected account.
- The platform and connected account, channel, profile, or page, when applicable.
Do not email passwords, access tokens, API keys, or payment-card information.
2. We verify the request
We may ask for information needed to confirm that you control the General Motion account or can act for the organization. We use it only to process and document the request.
3. We delete the covered data
Depending on the request, deletion includes:
- Profile and organization data that we are not required to retain.
- Stored files and file versions selected for deletion.
- Connected-account identifiers, tokens, permissions, and provider profile information.
- Draft settings, publication metadata, and destination status for the deleted account.
We complete verified requests as soon as reasonably possible and ordinarily within 30 days. Where a platform policy or applicable law requires a shorter period, we use the shorter period. YouTube Authorized Data covered by a deletion request is deleted as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days.
Published posts are separate
Deleting data from General Motion does not delete videos or posts already published to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, X, or LinkedIn. Delete published content in the destination platform itself.
Revoke a connected account
You can revoke General Motion from the connected platform’s account or security settings. Google and YouTube access can be revoked through Google’s third-party access settings. Revoking access prevents future authorized requests but does not itself delete content you published on the platform.
When you revoke a connection within General Motion, we revoke the provider token where supported and delete stored credentials. If you revoke on the platform, you may also email us to remove any remaining connected-account data.
Limited retention
We may retain limited records when required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. We delete them when that obligation ends. Deidentified information may also remain.
